LE PORTRAIT
An address with a clear point of view.
Located on Boulevard de Grenelle in the 15th arrondissement, Five Vintage presents itself as a pay-by-weight vintage shop specializing in period pieces — furs, leather, and shirts spanning multiple decades. The experience is far from glamorous: the space is dark, cluttered, and a persistent smell evokes a car boot sale rather than a fashion boutique. Prices range from 5 to 200 euros, though several customers report discrepancies at checkout, so keep your eyes sharp and verify each tag before paying. The condition of the clothing is inconsistent — holes, stains, and wear are commonplace, and careful inspection under proper lighting (if you can find any) is essential. This is clearly not the place for quick or casual shopping.
That said, if you genuinely enjoy hunting through endless bins and have time to spare, it is possible to leave with a vintage leather jacket or fur coat at a bargain price. With a Fripmap score of 1.5/10 and a Google rating of 2.4, the shop does not win universal approval — consider yourself warned.
